I am not as mindful of privacy as I probably should be. After all, I write a first-person column for PCWorld magazine in print, a sometimes confessional weekly newsletter (you're reading it now), and plenty of other articles for PCWorld.com. Given my mostly public persona, privacy can feel like lost cause. Even so, there are times when I'd like to regain at least a bit of my private life--especially on Facebook, where I spend far too much of my time. Yes, I've adjusted my privacy settings, and I'm careful not to over share when I give status updates. Still, I often feel I can do more. So I was pleased to read Logan Kugler's article "The Paranoid's Guide to Facebook." Even if you're not paranoid, take a look at Kugler's tips to see if they can help you secure your personal information.
