The Best of PCWorld

Despite some carriers' offers of "unlimited data" plans, it turns out that U.S. mobile brandband capacity is indeed limited--and we could be stretching the limits of our wireless broadband capabilities. In "Can We Avoid the Mobile Bandwidth Drought?" Today @ PCWorld blogger Eric Mack interviews industry pundits and concludes that major carriers' mobile networks are in many places strained to capacity, and they're having a hard time keeping up with consumer demand. In a follow-up, "The Mobile Bandwidth Drought: Carriers Respond," Eric presents perspectives from AT&T and Sprint. Make sure to read both articles for an in-depth discussion of the growing problem.
